I created a swamp water generator and tested wells and water towers for additional water generation. I’m still having trouble figuring out how to farm coralcreep and reeftop, though. I expanded my farmland a bit and added some additional crops. This kind of gets them out of the way for now. Thus, without the ability to craft a Relocator Gun, I decided to expand the base down and drop the Orbis farm to another level. Unfortunately, I discovered that crystal plants require crystal to make the seeds. On top of that, I finally found naturally occurring Zerchesium (and Thorium and Durasteel)! So far, I only have one ore, but with some persistence, I should get enough to make an Idle Factory to produce it for me. Thanks to a suggestion in my previous post, I downloaded the More Planet Info mod and discovered that this particular belt had some attractive ores! I found a couple of enormous titanium deposits and used most of it to add to my station. This upgrade costs 40 Durasteel Bars, and also requires the ability to rip out the Endomorphic Jelly obtained by brutally murdering the Giant Jelly boss, Brian.
So you can visit level 5-10 planets, and is currently the last starmap upgrade. After getting enough crystal erchius fuel from the Orbis farm, I crafted an FTL drive and went to another system with an asteroid belt. This will unlock Sector X in the starmap. I've gotten a lot done this past day! As you can see, the base has expanded quite a bit.
